Practice Questions by Topics

Secondary 4 Additional Mathematics is dominated by calculus. Differentiation (rules, tangents and normals, rates of change, maxima and minima) and integration (as the reverse of differentiation, area under a curve, kinematics) together make up a large share of the O Level papers, with proofs in plane geometry rounding off the syllabus. These are also the topics that H2 Mathematics in JC assumes from the first week.

The three papers below are larger than our other sets, with 21 differentiation, 11 integration and 9 plane-figure questions, because these topics need volume to master. Work through them in sections, mark each section before moving on, and keep a list of the standard results you had to look up.

Work through these Secondary 4 A-Math questions to identify areas where you may need additional support. If you're short on time and already know which concepts are challenging for you, focus your practice on those specific topics that require the most attention.
