Practice Questions by Topics
Secondary 2 Maths finishes the lower secondary syllabus and decides who is offered Additional Maths in Secondary 3. The year covers simultaneous equations, linear inequalities, expansion and factorisation, quadratic functions and equations, algebraic fractions and changing the subject of a formula, direct and inverse proportion, congruence and similarity, trigonometric ratios, mensuration of prisms, cylinders, cones and spheres, and probability and statistics.
Each paper below is a short set of essential questions for one topic. Work through a paper in one sitting without notes, mark it, and note the step where errors start. The algebra papers (expansion and factorisation, quadratics, algebraic fractions) are the ones to be sure of: every upper secondary topic builds on them.
Work through these Secondary 2 mathematics questions to identify areas where you may need additional support. If you're short on time and already know which concepts are challenging for you, focus your practice on those specific topics that require the most attention.
Need more than practice papers?
If the algebra papers are a struggle, our Secondary 2 Maths classes go through the same topics in a small group with every student's working checked, at $220 to $250 for four lessons. A free trial lesson is available on request.
