What Primary 5 tuition at EduZ covers
Primary 5 is the heaviest year of primary school. Most of what the PSLE tests is taught in P5, the Maths paper now has a calculator section, and Science questions ask students to explain and apply rather than recall. Children who fall behind in P5 spend P6 catching up instead of revising.
Our P5 Maths lessons cover whole numbers, fractions, decimals, ratio, percentage, area of triangles, volume, angles and the problem-sum types that fill PSLE Paper 2, with proper calculator use. Science covers cells, the plant and human body systems, electricity, water and the water cycle, and the open-ended answering technique that Booklet B needs. English works on comprehension with inference, situational and continuous writing, synthesis and transformation, and oral. Chinese covers composition, comprehension, oral and listening.
Lessons are 1.5 hours in a small group, with a progress note after each lesson.

No. The PSLE examines the P5 and P6 syllabus together, and P5 carries the bigger share of new topics, including ratio, percentage and the Science body systems. Students who are secure in P5 content spend P6 on revision and exam practice, which is where scores improve the most.
Yes. From P5, Paper 2 allows a calculator and Paper 1 does not. We teach students when the calculator saves time, when it introduces errors, and how to show working so method marks are not lost even if the final answer is wrong.
