Junior College Tuition

JC1 and JC2: General Paper, H1 and H2 Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Economics

JC tuition from the first term to the A Levels

Our Junior College programme covers General Paper, H1 and H2 Mathematics, H1 and H2 Physics, H1 and H2 Chemistry, H1 and H2 Economics and H1 Chinese, for JC1 and JC2 students. Lessons are 2 hours a week per subject in a small group at Woodlands, Admiralty, Choa Chu Kang and Yishun, taught by tutors who include former JC teachers.

JC1 lessons keep pace with the school and fix gaps before the promotional exams. JC2 lessons finish the syllabus early, then revise it with A Level and prelim papers marked against the scheme. Students who join part-way through the year start with a lesson that finds the topics losing marks.

Fees are $320 for four lessons, with no registration or material fee. Our A Level students have achieved A or B in 93% of the subjects they took with us.

JC1 and JC2

The A Level syllabus is nearly two years long and cumulative, so our tutors pace it carefully and leave time to revise. Students who join us part-way through are given a catch-up plan for the topics they missed.

Junior College 1 (JC1)

JC1 is all about being able to manage huge jump in content between secondary and JC, as well as being able to grasp the ‘A’ level syllabus well. Our JC1 programme focuses on building a strong foundation for the ‘A’ Level syllabus - giving ample practice for building up the necessary familiarisation with test formats and requirements.

Junior College 2 (JC2)

JC2 is all about tackling the ‘A’ Level with the right set of content, technique and guidance. Our JC2 programme aims to hone students’ examination skills like answer precision, question analysis and builds their confidence for the examination. Acing the ‘A’ Level examination is crucial for university enrolment and (oversea/local) scholarship application.

Questions parents ask about JC tuition

Do you take students from any JC?

Yes. Our students come from JCs across Singapore, and the A Level syllabus is the same everywhere. Lessons use past A Level papers and prelim papers from a range of JCs, so students see a wider spread of question styles than their own school sets.

Try a lesson before you decide

JC classes run at all four centres. Tell us the JC, the subjects and whether they are H1 or H2, and we will suggest a class, or book a free trial lesson.
