Practice Questions by Topics
Secondary 1 Maths is where algebra begins and where the habits for the next four years are set. The syllabus moves from numbers (factors, multiples, approximation, integers) into basic algebra, linear equations and inequalities, linear graphs and number patterns, then percentage, ratio and rate, and finishes with basic geometry and constructions. School tests at this level are mostly structured questions that reward clear working.
Each paper below is a short set of the questions our tutors consider essential for one topic, with the question types schools actually set. Print the paper, work through it in one sitting without notes, then mark it and look for the step where things went wrong. If a topic produces several errors, that is the one to revise first.
Work through these Secondary 1 mathematics questions to identify areas where you may need additional support. If you're short on time and already know which concepts are challenging for you, focus your practice on those specific topics that require the most attention.
Need more than practice papers?
If the papers show a gap, our Secondary 1 Maths classes cover the same topics week by week in a small group, at $220 to $250 for four lessons. A free trial lesson is available on request.
